Before cruising down the Big Lake, make sure that you're the owner of your boat with Title Transfer completed, Boat Registration with PFBC is secured, and your Boat is Insured with the proper amount of coverage.
Boat Registration is required if you own and operate a Motorboat in Pennsylvania that is primarily used in this state. This applies to Primary or seasonal residents, and visitors to the area for more than 60 days. You're allowed to use an out-of-state mailing address for title and registration purposes.
Non-motorized watercraft can be registered, or you may need to obtain a PA Boat Launch Permit for canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and inflatable craft, to use PFBC lakes and access areas, or Pennsylvania State Parks and Forests access areas.

Out-of-state trailer owners will need to complete title and registration with DMV in their home state of residency.
