Off-Road All-Terrain Vehicles are popular for a day of trail riding, for use around homeowner communities, and in rural settings for work or fun. In Pennsylvania, they must be INSURED, TITLED, and REGISTERED with DCNR when used on public lands.

Golfcarts and Off-Road Dirt Bikes can be insured, but they cannot be titled or registered with PENNDOT or with PA DCNR.
You may be able to title and register certain enduro style motorcycles, but it really depends on what the MSO/MCO or title states, and if they are street legal.
Registration with the state is not the same as registering within your homeowner community or association office.
Golfcarts in The Poconos are not just for golfing! If your golfcart is being used on roadways and trails within a private homeowner community, you need the right insurance. You (and your children) are sharing the roadway with other, full-sized, motorized vehicles. Don't leave gaps in coverage. Make sure your insurance policy includes coverage for Uninsured Motorist Liability, Underinsured Motorist Liability, and Medical Payments. Make sure you list all operators.
New Electric Vehicles: There are so many new style electric vehicles that it's very confusing on where they need to be titled,registered, and insured. If your "golfcart" has a 17 digit VIN, then it may have the potential to qualify for legal road use, providing it has all of the required safety features. If it does, and goes over 20 mph, then you may need to insure, title, and register with the Department of Motor Vehicles in your home state of residency.
We may be able to quote insurance for low speed vehicles, and the more elaborate golfcart-style newer electric vehicles that are used exclusively here in PA, at your 2nd residence. You will need to call and have an in-depth discussion for these types of vehicles. We're finding that some sellers will tell you they're a "golfcart", but fail to disclose they may also be a street legal registered vehicle. Know what you're purchasing. That fancy golfcart with all the bells and whistles, may actually be a street legal motor vehicle, capable of legally being used on highways.
