Application for New purchases.
for PA residents, out-of-state residents that own a 2nd home in the area, and registration for visitors to the area that will be using public lands.
Notary* - Seller's signature, and Purchaser's signature on a title, when required; Notary on the Bill of Sale (when required); and other forms that may be needed for submission (POA, Affidavit of Correction, Death Procedure, etc.).
Title Application - New and Transfers. You'll need valid proof of ownership
(Title / MCO or MSO / Transferable Registration card from previous owner).
It's best to always have clear color photos of all 4 sides of the machine, and a picture of the VIN Plate. If possible, obtain a rubbing/tracing of the VIN, too. You will receive proof of title application. PA DCNR will mail the title, if your application is approved.
Registration - New, Transfers, and Renewals. You'll need valid Proof of Insurance that's specific for each machine. You'll receive a temporary 45 day registration, plate, and decal. PA DCNR will mail your 2 year registration card, if your application is approved.
INSTANT INSURANCE - We quote and sell INSURANCE for all types of off-road vehicles, like ATV / UTV / Side-by-Side / Golfcarts / Amphibious Craft. The policy term is one year, and you can insure multiple machines, with a selection of coverage options to suit your needs, and budget. Insurance is available for PA residents, and for seasonal residents that use and store the machines in PA.
PA ATV LAWS - We can provide a copy of the current rules and regulations for off-road vehicles in PA. Golfcarts are not required to be registered in PA.
TRAILER TITLE & REGISTRATION - If you're a PA resident, we can Title and Register the TRAILERS used to haul your machines. This service is done through PENNDOT. We can provide Instant Registration, License Plate, and Title Application, providing you have all required documents.
IN-TRANSIT TAGS - Out-of-state Purchasers can obtain a Temporary 60-Day
In-Transit Registration and License Plate for a Trailer. This will allow the buyer time to apply for title in their home state of residency, and legally use the trailer for the interim period of time.
Before making the trip to our office, check to see if the ownership document requires Notarization. Pennsylvania is a Notary Jurisdiction, meaning PA Titles and MCO/MSO documents coming into PA, must be notarized - even if you purchased the machine out-of-state. Make sure the dealer that you're visiting completes the notary sections on the MCO/MSO. It's also a good idea to have the official paid receipt / bill of sale, notarized.
We are required to run a VIN Check. If the machine shows as registered in PA, you will need the Title to transfer ownership. If the machine's VIN is not found, contact our office for a detailed list of what will be required for DCNR to review for approval.
Bring a valid driver's license. Applicants are allowed to use an out-of-state mailing address, so there's no delay with receiving your ownership and registration documents.
