PA DCNR INSURANCE and REGISTRATION legal requirements can be completed at Tunlar Agency for all types of ATV's, UTV's, and SideX Machines. Make sure you're compliant, and visit us before you ride in the Keystone State.
DID YOU KNOW? Pennsylvania requires off-road vehicles to be insured.
While this requirement has already been in place, they are now enforcing it for new registrations, transfers, and renewals. Plan ahead and have your insurance in place.
Tunlar Agency can provide INSTANT INSURANCE for all of your machines on one policy - whether you reside in PA or another state, as long as the machines are principally used and stored in Pennsylvania. Call 570.226.0550 to quote & bind.
Select from a range of insurance coverage options that include the state mandatory minimum liability limits, higher levels of liability coverage, comprehensive, collision, uninsured and underinsured motorist liability, medical payments, roadside assistance, and carried contents. Rates will vary based on many factors, so it's best to call for a quick estimate. We have options for all budgets and needs, with many payment options available. Save big with the paid-in-full discount!
If you already have out-of-state insurance, but need to register your machines in PA, no worries. PA DCNR will allow proof of a valid insurance id card, binder, or declaration page, as long as the specific machine is listed and the vin matches.
Title Application, and Registration of your machine is quick & easy! We can provide you with proof of temporary registration and a DCNR ATV license plate with temporary sticker. The state will review and process your application. If approved, your 2 year registration card, title, and decals, will be mailed to your primary address.
If your application is rejected, they will provide an explanation of what items are needed. Always obtain proof of ownership when purchasing an off-road vehicle. Some states use a title, and others use a transferable registration card. Always obtain a bill of sale, signed by seller and purchaser, including the date, purchase price, and machine details (year, make, model, VIN, color).
Mistakes on a title can be costly and time consuming. If the title is signed in the wrong spot, incorrectly notarized, or is defaced in any way, the SELLER will need to apply for a duplicate title. CAVEAT EMPTOR! Always check before committing to a purchase.
If you're buying a brand new machine and the dealership provides you with a MCO/MSO, it will need to be Notarized. Even if that state does not require it, Pennsylvania does. Save yourself time and money by knowing in advance, what is required. Call 570-226-0550.
Quick notes:
Golfcarts are not registered in PA, although your homeowner community or association may require registration within their office. Golfcarts can be insured on the same policy with your ATV's (depending on the company).
Use caution with the New Electric Vehicles that may be road legal. These are not a typical golfcart and may require special handling for insurance and registraiton.
Motorcycles or dirtbikes that are not street legal can be insured and titled in PA, but NOT registered. Enjoy your ride and call Tunlar Agency with questions, 570-226-0550.
